Taryn Beach Cartoon

A cartoon I designed throughout my weeknights for a friend/co-worker's gift to her babysitter, Taryn!
Taryn is turning "Sweet 16" and her mother is having a huge party for her at a local firehouse. They requested this to be a signature board for all guests to sign at her party!

Immigration Cartoon Contest

I created this cartoon idea I had for the International Immigration Cartoon contest.
The cartoon had to be based on an idea about immigration, so....
I had the idea, penciled it out, and allowed myself little time each week to work on this idea to be finished as a digital cartoon file and submitted it.

Video demo of Live Digital Caricatures!

As many of you know, I use a large touch screen monitor (called a Cintiq) hooked up to my Macbook laptop.

I am hired to entertain at corporate events with the Cintiq and Macbook. While at these high-end events as part of the entertainment, we set it up to project a live feed from my computer onto a giant screen. Then I print out the finished artwork and give it to the person drawn.

Just for fun, I recorded the Cintiq screen while drawing someone. What you see above is exactly what they see up on the digital projector screen (though I did speed up the video just for fun!).

Let us know what you think! It's been such a hit at these corporate events. Everyone loves watching their co-workers being drawn and instead of a herd of people struggling to see the me drawing, they can laugh and see their friends being drawn from anywhere in the convention or conference room!

More practice with Corel Painter!

I actually drew this in less than 10 minutes of my husband Scott, and from memory! I believe this may be my best one of him in my cartoony style yet!

Looking for a Live Digital Caricaturist?

Here are a few "live" samples of my Creative Digital drawings. This type of performance is great for demonstrations, educational (school and college) events, trade shows, conventions, corporate events and MORE!

My talent comes with all my equipment, including projector and screen for the whole room to catch a glimpse of the action, and everyone who is drawn takes home a fun print of themselves in my cartoon-likeness style!! Call to book Angie at 570-739-0049!

Yesterday's Event!

I only had time for 3 photos at this private event, but should have taken more! My client was not only pleased with my work (and she's a graphic artist/husband, too), but she had told me she will be hiring me for EVERY event she has in the future! That is really great to hear!
My favorite was the little girl in red, who reminded me of "Cindy Loo," from Dr. Suess, The Grinch! Her lil belly was sticking out, when she first sat with her mother, so I just had to cartoon it!! :D

Looks like a balloon!

I thought I'd have a fun evening with color mixing with Scott! HA!

Sooner & Later! BFF!

Hey Beth! I found a cool "us," being together, way back when (do you know the date on this one?) Wow my hair is really red!
And today, what a "shnawz" I have in that photo! ha ha...but I'm cool with it! Maybe I should go back to that red again or that deep red you saw on me at one time, when my eyes were spooky, since they were so light compared to my hair!! LOL!

A WET, crazy New Year's Eve!

Scott and I worked on New Year's Eve and poor Scott had to stroll outside in the cold and later, rainy weather, while I was stationed in a very busy pizza joint, with very little room, and a bunch of screaming kids. Not a very good night for the 2 of us, plus I didn't feel up to par with my drawing skills, but here are a few!
